The Rev. Becca Seely, Pastor
Becca Seely helps lead the way with PRiSM Student Ministry, as well as serving as the director of The Vine NYC citywide campus ministry network and as a Spiritual Life Advisor to students at NYU. She was not raised in church and first began to explore questions of faith when she was in college. As a result, she is particularly passionate about working with young adults who are asking questions about God and what gives our lives meaning and purpose. Becca loves hearing people's stories, learning new things and discovering the unexpected ways God is working in the world around us. In her free time, she enjoys running and biking in Central Park, hanging out with her wife, Abby and two young kids, and planning elaborate theme parties. Becca is a graduate of Yale Divinity School, Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary and Wesleyan University. She is an ordained pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Email Becca at pastor@thevinenyc.org.

Bethany Day, Seminary Intern
Bethany is an intern with The Vine NYC, supporting PRiSM and the College Student Pantry. While living and going to school in Jerusalem Bethany discovered her passion for exploring faith, spirituality, and meaning with young adults from diverse backgrounds and faith experiences. This led her to pursue a Master of Divinity at Union Theological Seminary with a concentration in interreligious engagement. In her free time, she likes playing cooperative board games, hiking, and cooking Mediterranean-inspired food to share with friends. She holds a Master of Arts in Social Sciences from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Bachelor of Arts from Westmont College. After completing her degree at Union Theological Seminary, she hopes to continue working with college students as a college chaplain.
